Milwaukee beat St. Louis in a rain-soaked ballgame.

The Milwaukee Brewers overcame a good performance by St. Louis first baseman Ignacio Ocampo to knock off St. Louis, 8-7, at Busch Stadium. Ocampo was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Milwaukee pitcher Drew Rickelman got the win, upping his record to 9-8. Antonio Lacayo got the loss.

Milwaukee used a clutch hit from Sakae Kasahara to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Brewers ahead, 8-4. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Winning never gets dull," said Kasahara.

With the victory, the Brewers upped their record to 71-52.
