Kidd Hurls Shutout
|
Kansas City Royals pitcher Keith Kidd really got it done at Minute Maid Park in a 5-0 shutout victory over the Houston Astros, shutting them down on 3 hits.
"It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Kidd said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them."
The 32-year-old issued 2 walks and had 7 strikeouts in the Royals win.
So far in 28 appearances this season, Kidd has recorded 10 wins and sustained 6 losses. He has pitched 168 innings, yielded 173 hits, fanned 140 and has a 4.39 ERA.
