Chicago White Sox starter Stacy Hootentootin pitched a strong game against the Detroit Tigers at U.S. Cellular Field, leading the White Sox to victory, 8-4. Chicago goes to 106-50. The win puts them 23 games up in their division.
Early in the game, designated hitter Dietmar Warmisch had a 3-run home run for Chicago. It was his 33rd home run of the season and put the White Sox on top, 3-0.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Hootentootin said.
