Morrison Leads Rockies to 11-5 Win Over Astros
The Colorado Rockies defeated the Houston Astros, 11-5, in National League action at Colorado Field. Shawn Morrison pulled his weight. The 11-year veteran went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Rockies, now 9-2, have stormed out of the gates.

In the bottom of the second, Colorado first baseman Ollie Strauss had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Strauss stroked a 2-run triple to right-center.
