Ross Torches Red Wings for 5 Hits Friday, September 1st , 2051 Round Rock left fielder Finn Ross had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Rochester Red Wings at Dell Diamond as the Express picked up a 15-10 victory. "He was patient up there today," Round Rock skipper George Bush III told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Ross has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Finn Ross hit a two-run home run off Luis Perez in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, was hit by a pitch in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Roberto Liza in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. During the current season Ross is batting at a .274 clip with 9 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has played in 114 games and scored 65 times. |
