Durham-Omaha Brawl, Sano and Korte Suspended Tuesday, June 18th , 2052 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Durham-Omaha contest at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The Bulls Mikey Sano and the Storm Chasers Dan Korte will have to sit out 5 and 3 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Sano is swinging the bat at a .241 rate with 52 hits in 216 at-bats. To date he has hit 6 home runs, scored 18 runs and driven in 34. To date this year in 3 starts, Korte has crafted a 0-3 mark with a 5.20 ERA. |
