Lyang 5-for-6 for Giants Friday, May 3rd , 2052 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Joong-hee Lyang of the San Francisco (APP) Giants had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate today in the 15-2 win over the Washington (APP) Nationals at Rawling Foundation Complex. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 21-year-old center fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Joong-hee Lyang doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. |
