Twiss Raps Missoula for 5 Hits Tuesday, July 15th , 2053 Tyler Twiss told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Twiss of the Grand Junction Rockies did against the Missoula Osprey. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 8-4. "Not much I can say," offered Twiss in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" Tyler Twiss singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Dwayne Herriage in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Twiss is currently hitting at a .306 pace with 3 home runs, 4 RBIs and has scored 6 times. |
