Disepolo Extends Hit Streak to 34 Games Friday, August 18th , 2051 Joseph Disepolo of the Chicago White Sox has now hit safely in 34 straight games. He socked 3 hits in today's 12-2 triumph over Minnesota at U.S. Cellular Field. "34 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Disepolo said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Joseph Disepolo singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Tim Wichman in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off David Gordon in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. Disepolo is hitting .334 this year with 29 home runs and 81 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .421, 51 walks and scored 88 times. |
