Rodriguez Jr. Day-to-Day with Injury Tuesday, September 12th , 2051 Minnesota's star shortstop Alex Rodriguez Jr. injured himself in a game against the Seattle Mariners, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a sprained ankle and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Rodriguez Jr. with a smile as he talked to reporters. So far this season Rodriguez Jr. has put up a .216 batting average with 63 hits, 12 home runs and 35 RBIs. |
