5-Hit Blitz by Minnesota's Flynn Jr. Tuesday, September 12th , 2051 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Minnesota's Ryan Flynn Jr. made it happen today against the Mariners. Everything came together at the plate for the 28-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Twins to a 8-1 win at Target Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Flynn Jr. said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Ryan Flynn Jr. singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
