Cincinnati Sends Sobocinski to Houston Monday, February 19th , 2052 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Cincinnati Reds and the Houston Astros have agreed to a deal that will have 33-year old RHP Ryan Sobocinski heading to Houston in exchange for a 3rd round draft pick and a 5th round draft pick. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Cincinnati will retain a portion of Sobocinski's remaining contract. In his career, Sobocinski has compiled an ERA of 4.27 with 122 victories and 102 defeats and has held opponents to a .278 batting average. He also has struck out 1437 batters in 1924.1 innings and given up 2062 hits. |
