Red Sox Pacheco and Yankees Questi Suspended for Fight Monday, May 13th , 2052 After an intense confrontation, both the Red Sox Jose Pacheco and the Yankees Aldo Questi were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Boston-New York game. Jose Pacheco will miss 4 games, while Aldo Questi was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Jose Pacheco commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Pacheco is currently hitting at a .295 pace with 4 home runs and 19 RBIs. To date this season, Questi has registered 8 starts, 3-2 won-lost mark, 6.58 ERA, 39.2 IP, 40 strikeouts and 15 walks. Opposing teams have hit .273 against him. |
