Cardinals Antoine Roux Sidelined Thursday, June 20th , 2052 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Antoine Roux of the Cardinals knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Chicago Cubs while colliding with a player at a base. Because of a torn ligament in his thumb, the St. Louis second baseman is expected to miss 2 weeks. Roux was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."
