Pittman Headed for Retirement Tuesday, May 27th , 2053 Xavier Pittman is stepping away from the game of baseball at the end of the season. The Minnesota Twins player gave a brief explanation to reporters this afternoon. "It's time to step away from the game and work on phase two of my life - world domination," the 41-year-old joked. Pittman wisecracked for several minutes while reminiscing about high and low points of his career. At the end of the session, Pittman sent a personal message. "I truly thank all you fans." Career-to-date Pittman is hitting .263 with a total of 253 home runs. |
