Panama Stymied by Puffer Monday, January 30th , 2051 Bud Puffer kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Canada were all smiles after winning 8-0 against the Panama at Panama Stadium today. The right-handed Puffer gave up no runs in his start, permitted 3 hits and had 7 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Puffer said later.
