A+ C Headline News: The Offseason Begins

It's time to turn the page. Another exciting season of A+ C baseball is behind us, but there won't be time for reminiscing. Like everything else in baseball, the offseason is a time for action. Roster and financial moves, trade proposals and the upcoming winter meetings are all demanding the attention of general managers. While players head for well-deserved vacations, GMs across High-A Central are already hard at work determining the next steps for their team.

Beloit Snappers Are Champs

The Beloit Snappers ignited a huge celebration as they beat the West Michigan Whitecaps 6-2 to win the Round 2.
Beloit won the series 4-3, capturing the title for the 2nd time.
"We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Beloit manager . "It's a great feeling."
The champs finished the regular season 94-46 and claimed first place in the West.
In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and first baseman Adrian Troche said the Snappers have "great fans and they deserve this."
"I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
