Idaho Spuds starter Alejandro López pitched his team past the Michigan Militia, 4-1. Carlos Acosta recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 22 for 23. At 53-60, the Spuds find themselves in third place in the Great Explorers League Pacific.

The Spuds got a big at-bat from catcher Jeffery McCray. For the game, McCray was 1 for 3 with a double and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 20th double of the season gave Idaho a 3-1 lead.
