Monday, July 7th , 2104
23-year-old Enrico Ramos sent shock waves through National Pastime Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Founding Fathers League Player of the Week Award.
A newcomer to the league, Ramos made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .458 average, 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs and 7 runs batted in.
Where the Tennessee Hounds center fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Ramos certainly made his mark last week.
This year, Ramos has hit at a .271 clip with 81 hits, 6 home runs, 32 RBIs and 34 runs scored.
