Wisconsin Nerve Tested in 4-3 Win
|
The Wisconsin Lumberjacks topped the Michigan Militia, 4-3, in Great Explorers League action at Northern Lights Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Wisconsin pitcher Roy Brinson. This win makes it 7 in a row for Wisconsin.
The Lumberjacks procured the win, in large part because of left fielder Tony Roberts. In the bottom of the 13th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"We had a chance to win," said Michigan manager Michigan CPU GM, "but we didn't get it done."
