Late Rally by Wolves Secures 5-2 Win
The Minnesota Wolves picked up a win at Buzzy Stevens Park, knocking off the Illinois Jethawks, 5-2. Starting pitcher Manuel Bibiano was a big reason why. The save went to Vincente Montoya, his 42nd this season. Minnesota is now 93-57, 11 games up in the Great Explorers League Central.

Donald Frye, who finished 5th in the GEL in extra base hits with 67 in 2085, aided the Minnesota cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1 for 1 with a double.

"We take it day by day here," said Frye, "and today was a good one for us."
