Admirals Come Up Short at Quebec, 3-2
|
In a low-scoring clash between Quebec and Maryland, pitcher Raleigh Brown was a difference-maker. The left-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 win. Brown went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 19-9. The win puts Quebec at 80-74 this season.
Quebec took a 3-0 lead on Alan Brown's 33rd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Maryland pitcher Patrick Rhodes in the bottom of the seventh.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Brown said.
