Jacks Squelch Scorpions Offense in Shutout Win
|
Getting an impressive start from Diego Garza, Nevada beat Utah by the score of 4-0. Nevada, now 13-4, is setting the league on fire so far.
The Jacks got an important contribution from shortstop Nathan Case, who in the bottom of the third punched a full count fastball into left-center for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Jacks ahead, 4-0.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Garza said after the game.
