Jarvis, Illinois Top Militia, 1-0
|
Illinois picked up a win at Jethawk Sportpark, bumping off the Michigan Militia, 1-0. Pitcher John Jarvis was a major reason the Jethawks emerged victorious. Juan Domingo got the save, the 4th for him this season. The Militia fall to 9-12 and continue their uneven start to the 2098 season.
Jarvis tossed 103 pitches over 8 innings to clinch the win for the Jethawks. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while racking up 8 strikeouts in the game.
"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Michigan CPU GM.
