Georgia rode a decent outing from starter Michael Cox to victory over the Maryland Admirals. The final score was 7-4. The win for the Generals lifted their record to 25-16.

Georgia took a 7-4 lead on Jason Campbell's 9th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Maryland pitcher Luis Manuel Gálvez in the bottom of the seventh.

"I love to hit," said Campbell. "As long as I keep loving it, the game's going to love me back."
