Citadelles Win 4-1 Walk-Off
|
The outcome was not decided until the very end at Collissee de Quebec.
The Washington Griffins went down to defeat to Raleigh Brown and his Quebec teammates. The final score was 4-1 in favor of the Citadelles. The winner was Randolph Miller in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Scott Coggan took the loss.
Quebec won the game in the bottom of the 19th inning. With one out and Scott Coggan on the mound for Washington, left fielder Alan Brown hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Citadelles fans to their feet.
"The ending was a real humdinger," Brown told reporters after the game.
Washington now has a 8-game losing streak.
