José Barajas was locked and loaded, helping the Utah Scorpions beat the Minnesota Wolves, 2-0. The winning pitcher was Barajas, now 7-1. He tossed 8 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 2. Francisco Guzmán was credited with the save for Utah, his 24th of the season.

Utah took a 1-0 lead on Claudio Martínez's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Martínez hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Minnesota pitcher Jayson Goodman shaking his head.
