Millard Lynch pitched a gem to lead Idaho to victory over the Washington Griffins, 2-0. Lynch, now 7-6, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing no runs. Idaho is third in the Great Explorers League Pacific with a record of 31-37.

Scott Roberts dealt the Griffins a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with runners on 1st and 3rd and Idaho leading 1-0, Roberts, who is tied for 5th in the GEL in RBI with 36, hit a first pitch forkball for a run-scoring single.

"Winning never gets dull," said Roberts.
