4-1 Patriots Win over Hounds Evens Season Record
|
Manuel Elías pitched well, but the Tennessee Hounds still lost the game, falling 4-1 to the Massachusetts Patriots at Glory Field. The save went to Jeremy Farr, his 17th this season. The Patriots, at 38-38, sit in 4th place in the Founding Fathers League Northeast.
The Patriots got a big at-bat from catcher Tony Rodríguez. For the game, Rodríguez was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Massachusetts a 3-1 lead.
Rodríguez said he was "thrilled" the fans had something to get excited about.
