Generals Move on to League Championship Series
|
The Georgia Generals will continue the trek towards a National Cup title, while the Massachusetts Patriots are headed home for the season.
Georgia won the Divisional Series with a clinching game 3-0 victory at Matthews Field, concluding the series at 4-2.
"We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Alfonso Rocha said after officially being named series MVP.
He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .400 batting average, .400 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored.
The League Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
