Krause Blasts Admirals, Freedom Take Game 3, 6-5
The Pennsylvania Freedom have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Maryland Admirals, winning 6-5 at Historic Ironside Field today. Freedom center fielder Joe Krause was 2-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The win cuts the deficit facing the Freedom to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Divisional Series.

Krause contributed in the bottom of the third. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Pennsylvania get the win.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Krause, "one at-bat at a time."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Historic Ironside Field in Philadelphia.
