Utah Bats Go Silent in 6-0 Loss
Pitcher Tony Martínez was sensational for the Idaho Spuds in his team's 6-0 triumph over the Utah Scorpions. Martínez picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Martínez, the winner, moves to 6-8. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up no walks. Today's win puts Idaho at 48-49, while Utah falls to 59-38.

Seth Hinton dealt the Scorpions a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Idaho leading 2-0, Hinton hit a first pitch curveball for a 2-run single.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Martínez.
