Gómez Spectacular in 4-0 Win Monday, August 18th , 2098 In an outstanding mound performance, Utah Scorpions starter Dave Gómez fired a complete-game shutout against the New Jersey Bears at Great Western Ballpark today. Gómez was the key to the Scorpions's 4-0 win. The 28-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 3 hits and no walks he allowed.
