The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Nevada third baseman could miss the remainder of the year. Guthrie was injured while running the bases in the Jacks-Spuds clash at Venetian Field recently. Doctors said he has a broken kneecap and would be out a minimum of 6-7 months.
