Jacks Drake Guthrie Down and Out for Year Monday, October 6th , 2098 Drake Guthrie will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Nevada third baseman could miss the remainder of the year. Guthrie was injured while running the bases in the Jacks-Spuds clash at Venetian Field recently. Doctors said he has a broken kneecap and would be out a minimum of 6-7 months. For the season Guthrie has hit .242 with 6 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has played in 134 games and scored 33 times. |
