Quebec Captures Wild Card Monday, October 13th , 2098 Mario Castro of the Quebec Citadelles said fighting for a playoff spot is an "absolute grind" in National Pastime Baseball League. The grind is now over, as the Citadelles have captured a wild card berth. "It's a weight off our shoulders and now we can exhale," said the reliever. "It's hard to describe how much effort and focus goes into this." Team owner Keith Carpenter said he believes his club has something to prove and they are looking forward to the postseason. |
