Great Stroke: Watkins Gets 5 Hits Tuesday, July 22nd , 2098 Broderick Watkins did more than his part as the Plymouth Pilgrims topped the New Brunswick Knights today at Bainton Field. The Pilgrims first baseman pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 13-1 thumping of the Knights. Broderick Watkins singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
