Huerta on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Tuesday, July 22nd , 2098 In an outing that will go down in the annals of baseball history, Duluth center fielder Cris Huerta hit for the cycle today as the Bulldogs marched to victory over the Sherbrooke Canadiens, 7-2. Huerta collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, including 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. He added 4 runs batted in and 2 runs scored to help Duluth take the Duluth Grounds contest. "It was the last thing on my mind, really," Huerta said. "I'm out there trying to get a blooper or a walk or whatever might help the team. Even if I had wanted to, hitting for the cycle is probably as much about luck as about skill anyway." Cris Huerta hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Eddie Courtright in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
