The End Is Here: Joe Morán Retires
Friday, September 5th , 2098
Joe Morán said the one thing he hopes he's remembered for in his baseball career is for being the hardest worker around.

It will be time to start reflecting on his career soon, as the 37-year-old Plymouth Pilgrims second baseman today announced his retirement from the sport.

"I pride myself on my work ethic and I hope that rubbed off on my teammates and continues to rub off on the team after I'm gone," he said.

Morán has played in 527 games and is hitting .254 lifetime with 161 RBIs, 373 hits, 91 doubles, 16 triples, and 23 home runs. He has scored 135 times and stolen 5 bases.
