Pedro Córdova Nabs Best Player Trophy

The future looks extremely bright for Pedro Córdova. At the age of 25, many players are still trying to find their way in Developmental League.
Córdova has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Eastern League Outstanding Hitter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .323 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.
The Reading Railroad star also put up a .435 on-base percentage this year, with 145 hits, 31 doubles, 4 triples, 11 home runs, 57 RBIs and 57 runs scored.
He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 20. Mike Hudson of the Val D'Or Miners finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Desi Henry of the Saint Cloud Thunderbolts finished third with 5 first place votes.
