Dyer Goes on Rampage Against Wildcats Monday, April 14th , 2098 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Ken Dyer, it came around today. The 24-year-old third baseman scattered hits all over Northern Michigan Stadium to pace the Three Lakes Loons to a 4-2 victory over the Marquette Wildcats. Marquette skipper told reporters in the press room that "Dyer deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Dyer hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Ken Dyer singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and grounded out in the 11th.
