Season Over for César Gallardo in Marquette Sunday, August 17th , 2098 The season is finished for César Gallardo of the Marquette Wildcats. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Wildcats center fielder suffered a broken bone in the elbow while colliding with a player at a base in a recent game against the Reading Railroad. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. Presently Gallardo is batting .260 and has collected 6 home runs, 30 RBIs, .366 OBP and scored 44 runs. |
