Season Possibly Over for Gerald Haynes Thursday, August 28th , 2098 The season is finished for Gerald Haynes of the Yakima Centaurs. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Centaurs reliever suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Oceanside Pelicans. Team doctors said it would take at least 5-6 months to heal. So far this year Haynes has delivered 1 save. In 5 relief appearances he has 7 strikeouts in 12 innings with a 3.00 ERA and no wins and no losses. |
