Reynolds Shuts Out Friars, 5-0 Sunday, September 7th , 2098 Melvin Reynolds kept the Biloxi Friars hitters off balance all game long as the Benton County Manatees pitcher blanked the Friars, 5-0. Reynolds gave up 5 hits, struck out 8 and walked 2. In the postgame press conference, the right-hander was reluctant to talk about the outing at length. "It was a nice win in a long season," he said.
