Enforcers Prevail, as Round 3 Goes to the Wire Monday, September 29th , 2098 Rigs Rookie League pundits who figured the Round 3 between the Meridian Enforcers and Gulfport Unicorns would go the distance were right on the mark. The two teams battled back and forth in a spirited series, with Meridian coming out on top thanks to a 12-6 win in the deciding game at Unicorns Ballpark, to wrap things up 4-3. "You get to the last game and anything can happen, so we're overjoyed to come out on top," said Enforcers second baseman Jason Andrus, who was named series MVP. For the series, Andrus had 10 hits for a .400 average. He had 0 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Round 4 matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 3 finishes.
