Utah Scorpions pitcher Xavier Féliz was in top form, leading his team past the Colorado Rams, 5-1. Francisco Guzmán earned his 43rd save in 45 chances. Utah leads the Great Explorers League Pacific by 9½ games.

Féliz, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 6 innings for the Scorpions. For the most part, Colorado hitters were simply overmatched.

"Xavier did a good job of managing their lineup," said Utah manager Brett Williams.
