The Utah Scorpions went down to defeat to José Ríos and his California teammates. The final score was 4-2, in favor of the Lions. In 7 innings, Ríos surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. José Lara, credited with the save, is now 4 for 11 in save opportunities.
