Abrams goes 4-for-5 as Blue Jays Squeeze Past Washington
The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Washington Nationals, 7-6, at Rogers Centre. The win was due in part to first baseman CJ Abrams, who was 4 for 5 with 4 doubles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Mike Pendergrass notched his 10th save in 10 chances. Washington's current losing streak is now 5 games.

Abrams had a game-changing double in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 fastball from Anthony Misiewicz, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Blue Jays a 7-6 lead. It was the 16th double of the year for Abrams.

"I felt good up there," said Abrams. "I saw the ball well."
