Guardians Dump Orioles, 6-4
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Cleveland Guardians and Baltimore Orioles.
The Cleveland Guardians overcame a good performance by Baltimore first baseman Roslan Chaber to knock off Baltimore, 6-4, at Progressive Field. Chaber went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Picking up the win was Zach Stowell. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits. The right--hander struck out 3 and walked 3.
The Guardians got a big hit from right fielder Joseph Robinson. In the bottom of the fifth, Robinson pounded a bases-clearing double to left. His 2nd double of the season put the Guardians ahead, 6-2.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Robinson.
Cleveland bumps their record to 38-46 with the win.
