The Minnesota Twins pounded the Arizona Diamondbacks, 17-1, at Target Field. Minnesota center fielder T.J. Shoulders had a solid game. He was 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while adding 10 RBI and scoring twice for the Twins. Minnesota has now won 6 straight.

With Minnesota leading 13-1 in the bottom of the sixth, Shoulders came up to bat against Arizona pitcher Phil Hay. Shoulders hit a cutter to left-center for a grand slam home run. His 32nd home run of the season put the Twins on top, 17-1.

"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Shoulders. "I think we showed that here."
