Drillers Heading to Round 2
It's a sweet sweep for the Tulsa Drillers and they have won the Round 1. The Wichita Wind Surge were not able to keep pace with the Drillers and dropped the series in short order, losing 1-0 in the deciding game.

"This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Wichita manager .

It's now on to the Round 2 for Tulsa after their 3-0 series win.

Leading the way for the winners was left fielder Marcus Haskins, who was named MVP. For the series, Haskins hit .500 with a .571 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Tulsa Drillers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Midland RockHounds - Corpus Christi Hooks series. Corpus Christi leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
